Mrs. Bailey is a native of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. She has a B. S. in Secondary Education/Comprehensive Science from the University of Alabama and a M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership from Samford University. She has 23 years of teaching experience and has taught a variety of science subjects: 7th grade Life Science, 8th grade Physical Science, Biology, Ecology, AP Environmental Science, AP Biology, Honors Anatomy, Earth and Space Science, Zoology, Marine Biology, Aquascience, Chemistry, Physics, and Anatomy/Physiology . Mrs. Bailey is an Alabama Science In Motion, Alabama Math, Science and Technology Initiative, and Advance Placement Certified Educator. She has been an ASIM educator for 23 years, an AMSTI educator for 4 years and an Advance Placement educator for 3 years during her years of teaching.
Mrs. Bailey is married and has 4 children. She has 2 grandchildren.
